As our new Legal Counsel, you will:

• Provide support to the Marketing, B2B, Product, and other teams on matters of commercial contracting, product, and marketing;

• Provide legal support for various initiatives and projects of the carVertical teams, such as launching new products, marketing initiatives, commercial deals and decision-making;

• Assess complex and developing issues, structure potential solutions, make decisions independently, contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement, and drive to resolution with other stakeholders - product, privacy, customer support, PR, etc.;

• Establish strong processes with multiple teams, e.g., creating policies, and templates, providing guidelines for other teams, advising on communication to users, etc.;

• Monitor and assess new legislative and non-legislative initiatives relevant to carVertical in all of its core markets;

• Work with outsourced law firms in all of our jurisdictions.

What you need to be successful:

• A lawyer with at least five years of experience in tech sector, intellectual property and/or litigation fields;

• An advanced understanding of commercial contracts, as well as the ability to evaluate the performance of other teams such as marketing and product development;

• Being able to assess legal risks while considering business strategy and keeping a global perspective;

• Able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements as well as to prioritize different projects while working with multiple teams;

• Solidly proficient in communicating with both technical and management levels;

• A team player who’s happy working in an environment with plenty of cross-departmental collaboration and a sense of ownership for results and deliverables;

• Committed to personal and professional growth, as well as to share best practices with others, finding ways to spread learning across the organization;

• Passionate about tech-driven businesses;

• Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English;

• Note: Membership at a local bar association is not required.

Salary:

Gross salary starting at 4000 euro/month
