Privacy Counsel

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Privacy Counsel with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in privacy law, particularly within the technology sector, and will be adept at navigating complex regulatory environments.

As our Privacy Counsel, you will:

• Provide expert legal advice on privacy and data protection matters, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, and other applicable laws;

• Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies and procedures across the organization;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to integrate privacy considerations into business processes and product designs;

• Conduct privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments for new products and services;

• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments related to privacy and data protection, advising the company on potential impacts;

• Manage data breach response efforts, including investigation, notification, and remediation;

• Provide training and guidance to employees on privacy best practices and compliance requirements.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in law;

• 3-5 years of experience practicing privacy law, preferably within the technology industry;

• In-depth knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and emerging privacy frameworks;

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex legal issues and provide practical solutions;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams;

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

• Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM are a plus.

Gross monthly salary range starts at 4000 eur;
