Responsibilities:
As the leader of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of data solutions;
Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs;
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits of data pipelines;
Design data models, collaborate with other decision-making data-governance members;
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements to existing systems, and share expertise with the team.
Required skills:
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of data engineers;
An advanced experience in Python, SQL;
Proven practical knowledge of AWS cloud environment;
Proven experience in designing complex data processing systems with a wide variety of heterogeneous data;
Practical experience in data modeling, concepts, standards, and best practices;
Good conceptual and logical modeling skills;
Experience in Airflow, dbt, BigQuery is an added bonus.
