Data Engineering Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• As the leader of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of data solutions;

• Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs;

• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits of data pipelines;

• Design data models, collaborate with other decision-making data-governance members;

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements to existing systems, and share expertise with the team.

Required skills:

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of data engineers;

• An advanced experience in Python, SQL;

• Proven practical knowledge of AWS cloud environment;

• Proven experience in designing complex data processing systems with a wide variety of heterogeneous data;

• Practical experience in data modeling, concepts, standards, and best practices;

• Good conceptual and logical modeling skills;

• Experience in Airflow, dbt, BigQuery is an added bonus.
