Job description

carOne is an early-stage umbrella application for the car owner who wants to simplify various car maintenance tasks in the city. We are looking for a driven Director of Business Operations for this handy urban innovation.

The main task is to develop and implement effective strategies to generate revenue, optimise costs, and increase profitability. Strong leadership, strategic and critical thinking, and excellent communication skills are required for this position and successful growth.


Main responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identifying new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients/customers;
  • Contract Management: Negotiating and managing contracts with partners. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and terms;
  • Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Utilizing data to make informed business decisions;
  • Pricing and Revenue Management: Establishing pricing strategies for products or services to maximize profitability. Monitoring and adjusting pricing based on market dynamics and competition;
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing budgets and financial forecasts for the commercial department. Monitoring performance against financial goals and making necessary adjustments;
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention;
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating commercial and financial risks that may impact the organization’s operations or profitability;
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborating with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and drive brand awareness;
  • Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular reports on commercial performance, financial metrics, and market trends to the executive team and board of directors.

Job requirements

Gross salary starting from 4900 EUR. 

We are open to negotiation - the final offer will depend on your competencies.
