Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting specialist to join our finance team! The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy. In this position, you will:

  • Import/book bank statements (ensuring bank operations accounting control);

  • Process and verify purchase invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies, tax regulations, Lithuanian GAAP;

  • Handle and book travel reports, expense claims and company’s credit cards expenses according to company policies;

  • Reconcile and control AP open items (including management of debtor reconciliation statements);

  • Manage Vendor master data (including creation of new Vendors);

  • Participate in month-close activities according to month-close schedule;

  • Prepare statistic reports;

  • Assist in the preparation of necessary documents for audits;

  • Provide support on other day-to-day accounting activities;

  • Support/advise employees in finance questions;

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Accounts Payable process. 

Job requirements

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Experience as an Accountant or in a comparable role for at least 1 year;

  • Attention to details;

  • High levels of responsibility and accuracy;

  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and Lithuanian GAAP;

  • Proficiency in MS Excel ;

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently;

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Familiarity with Finvalda (accounting system) and Fitekin (documents management system) would be an advantage.

Gross monthly salary range starts at 2000 eur

We are open to negotiation - the final offer will depend on your competences.
